Over 20 years in CNC and manufacturing – running machines, setting them, programming them, and eventually being responsible for the people doing all three. Calgary CNC Consulting exists because of a pattern seen in shop after shop: the technical problems are rarely the real problem. The real problem is that nothing is written down, one person carries too much, and everyone is too busy firefighting to fix the cause.
The approach is deliberately unglamorous. No software to sell, no automation to push, no transformation programme. Just the necessary work – routines that repeat, procedures people use, training that shortens the ramp-up, and quoting that reflects what the shop can actually do. Done with your people rather than to them, because anything built any other way does not survive the first busy month.
